Hello my friends and I were all talking about this and we thought it would be pretty cool to have Prince Rurik's Firey dragon sword or maybe his sheild. You fight Undead Prince Rurik in Hell's Precipice (for those who don't already know) and it could drop there. Also it would be so much easier to get a group for that misson. I was even thinking about suggesting this to NCSoft. More people would try to beat the game which I already have 3 times but more people would be playing the final misson as well. So if you were trying to beat the game and pick up a Prince Rurik green a long the way that would be cool. Let me know what you guys think and I'll keep checking on the forum

yes, it would be rather cool, now whammos could really follow his glory by weilding his sword, or even better... HIS SHEILD Woooooooooo encourge them..

but yeh, on a serious note, as good of an idea this is it's rather pointless because for one. it's to far out of the way, two, it'll be done over so many times because it's a mission, that people will farm it to death, and three, what would it be? his FDS? i mean come on.. :|

I think it's a great idea

I'm also of the belief that there should be some reward at the end of this mission or the Titan quests that is equivalent to the greens you get for defeating Shiro in Factions.

As for it being too far out of the way, what the hell are you on Ulivious? Scared you might actually have to do some WORK to farm a desirable green for once?!?
Some greens SHOULD be hard to acquire, it makes them all the more worth it.

Ruriks 'Tash, now thats a Green item worthy of... being green.

(I think it's a great Idea, 15^50 15 Stance +30 hp or +5 Armour would be nice)

How can a boss you have to kill in order to beat the main storyline be out of the way ?

Any easy to aquire green will be "farmed to death". But that just means it will be cheap to buy. I fail to see how this is a problem

It would have to be a FDS skin for the sword, and the shield will have to have the same skin as it had when you fought him (I can't remember what it was). Since those skins already exist, that means the only things we need left are the stats and name for the sword and shield. We would have to keep them to items that already spawn in order to preserve game balance.

Maybe:
Prince Ruriks Sword
Fire damage (its a fiery dragon sword, no other prefix mod would fit)
+20% damage while under 50% hp (how many games have you played where your beating on some of the final bosses, its nearly dead, only to become more powerful that what it was when you first saw it)
of Charrslaying (Rurik hates the Charr)

Ruriks Shield
Strength based
Recieved damage -5 (20% chance) - IMO the worst damage reduction option for shields, but Rurik is an idiot while hes out ally, and doesn't get a chance to do anything dumb or smart while our enemy.
Health +45 while enchanted - He doesn't get enchanted, see above for why this fits.

but yeah...i'd totally want those, cuz I am noob like that.

maybe make it req 8 to make it truly desirable? or give it the fds skin but give it something cool like a zealous mod to make it good? I'd totally rock a zealous fiery dragon sword.
